Fifteen years of turning compliance into clarity.
NDS Advisors was founded in 2009 by two articled clerks who kept hearing the same question from clients: "but what does this actually mean for my business?" Fifteen years on, that question still shapes how we work across Panaji, Margao, and Vasco da Gama, Goa.
Two clerks, one ledger, and a lot of late nights.
NDS Advisors opened its first small office in Panaji in 2009, with two founding partners and a handful of clients inherited from their articleship years. The early work was ordinary — tax returns, statutory audits, the odd incorporation. What set the practice apart was a refusal to hand over a filing without explaining it.
That habit is still the reason clients stay. As Goa's business landscape shifted — GST, digital compliance, cross-border structures — the firm grew by following its clients into Margao and Vasco da Gama, building sector expertise in whatever industry walked through the door: tourism & hospitality, mining, real estate, and eventually IT services and startups.
Today NDS Advisors is a 75-person practice, but the founding instinct hasn't changed: read the fine print so the client doesn't have to worry about it.
A track record built one filing at a time.
Fifteen years, a few milestones at a time.
From a two-room office in Panaji to a firm trusted across the state — here's how NDS Advisors got here.
Firm founded in Panaji, Goa
Two articled clerks register NDS Advisors and take on their first independent audit and tax clients.
Outsourced accounting practice launched
Growing SME clients ask for more than filings — the firm builds a dedicated bookkeeping and payroll desk.
Margao office opens
A second office follows the firm's expanding trading and real-estate client base in South Goa.
GST transition desk stood up
A dedicated indirect-tax team is formed ahead of GST rollout, retraining every client on the new regime.
Vasco da Gama office opens
The third office is opened to serve a growing base of tourism, hospitality, and port-trade clients in Vasco.
Virtual CFO practice introduced
Startup and scale-up clients gain access to ongoing financial strategy, not just year-end compliance.
7,500+ client files on record
NDS Advisors now serves clients across ten industries from three offices, with a 98% retention rate.
The principles behind every engagement.
Not a mission statement — a working agreement. These are the standards every file is measured against before a client ever sees it.
Explain Before You File
No return, report, or filing leaves the office without the client understanding what it says and why.
Deadlines Are Commitments
Every statutory date is treated as fixed the day an engagement begins, not negotiated the week it falls due.
Clean Working Files
Workpapers, correspondence, and review notes are documented on every engagement, so nothing depends on memory.
Stay After the Invoice
Notices, queries, and follow-up questions are answered as part of the relationship, not billed as a new engagement.
The partners who sign off on the work.
Every engagement is ultimately reviewed and signed by one of these six — a small leadership bench, by design, so nothing gets lost between departments.
